High crown, tight or open contacts? Follow the flow chart to see what creates the discrepancy and how to avoid and correct.

This simple flow chart was designed by a dentist and technician back in the 90's to guide the practioner and the laboratory to a quick resolve of the issue and make adjustments accordingly.  Although this was originally designed back when stone and pinned dies were used, it is still relevant today for the digital restoration.  Click PDF for a print file.

About Us

There is always something to learn...  now in my 50th year as a lab tech the landscape continues to change.  With that comes efficiencies in most cases, but not without a cost and sometimes quite the learning curve.  The idea behind RDLtechnews.online is to share experiences, new products as well as old, along with a few technical tips that we, as a lab, have come across.  If you have a question, never hesitate to ask.  If we don't have the answer, someone does!!
